FCC Chair Must Be Removed-Threats to ABC About Kimmel Violate 1st Amendment

Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr threatened to “take action” against Disney and ABC over Kimmel's remarks. In an interview with conservative commentator Benny Johnson, Carr described Kimmel’s remarks as “the sickest conduct possible,” adding that the FCC could move to revoke ABC affiliate licenses as a punishment, and as a result ABC did indeed remove Kimmel from his position. President Trump also stated that negative comments about him are "no longer free speech." This is a gross violation of the 1st Amendment, and Brendan Carr needs to be removed from his position for these constitutional transgressions. In the United States the government cannot threaten punishment like this for someone exercising free speech, and it's shameful that this administration needs that explained to them. I call on Congress to remove FCC Chair Brendan Carr from his position.
