Save Job Corps This program is sometimes the last bit of hope that our youth can hold onto to make a better life for themselves and to be a positive contributing member of their community. Why take away something that has worked for sixty years with no alternative in place? Students through Job Corps learn valuable trade skills and have a safe place to live. It can turn someone’s life around and collectively makes us all safer. Now that is being ripped away while billionaires get tax breaks. Every day we see a new story where people in need get hit hard while people with unimaginable wealth get tax breaks. This administration claims to want a strong US labor force. Then its own Department of Labor shuts down training for our young people. Stop the breakdown of our social contract. Save Job Corps. Push the Department of Labor to save funding.
