There is a lot of lawless behavior coming out of Washington D.C. President Trump declares false emergencies to seize power away from Congress, to put troops on our streets and to damage our economy and infrastructure for the benefit of his cronies. You took an oath to protect and defend our U.S. Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic, and I expect you to stand up and loudly denounce every illegal action taken by the President and his appointees. I expect you to take action to legally cancel their emergencies and get our country back on track. Do not abdicate your responsibility and relinquish your power to a dictator.
Congress is coming back into session and I want you to take this opportunity to start defending your constituents against the damage being done to them in Washington D.C.
I need you to make sure there is NO BUDGET AGREEMENT unless all Nutrition Assistance programs, Medicaid, Affordable Care Act, and Medicare cuts are restored.
I want you to know that 85% of the income to the U.S. treasury is from income and payroll taxes. LABOR PAYS THE WAY. Our taxes matter and I DO NOT APPROVE of Trump and Republicans scaling back important programs designed to help Americans Americans to give tax breaks to billionaires. That includes the Education Department, OSHA, FEMA, HHS, Medicaid, the ACA, the National Weather Service/NOAA and so many more.
I expect to see and hear you speaking long and loud in Congress and in front of cameras and reporters that you are willing to let the government grind to a halt rather than continue to punish 99% of Americans to favor the super wealthy.
