Do your job and stop the destruction of our country.

You have allowed our government to shut down rather than provide healthcare to the poorest among us. (And no, we don’t buy the GOP talking points -- unregistered aliens are not allowed access to those health programs.) Agencies across government are violating the Hatch Act with their messaging, while the POTUS posts racist rhetoric seeking to deflect blame. The SecDef spent millions of $$ to lecture our senior military leadership about grooming and to promote violation of domestic & international laws -- and the world was watching. Then, the President gave an unhinged talk to follow on his demented UN address. The whole world can see he is unwell, but the Congress does nothing about it. Our military continues to violate international law by blowing up boats that may well have innocent civilians on board. The Secretary of HHS and his minions continue to attack proven science and medical care, while adding to disinformation. Farmers and businesses across the US are facing bankruptcy because of illegal tariffs based on delusion and misinformation. The POTUS is making recissions to Congressionally authorized funding, most probably in violation of the Constitution (Article I, Section 8, if you need a refresher). DHS and ICE are illegally detaining citizens. The military has been deployed on false pretexts inside the US in violation of the law. The DOJ is failing to investigate and prosecute abuses, but instead is firing career personnel based on rumors stemming from social media posts. We could list several hundred more affronts against democracy and the rights of the public. The US is slipping into a dictatorship. Congress could reverse this, but what do we hear from you? Crickets. History will record -- and we will long remember -- your cowardice in failing to act. Represent your constituents and honor your oath of office. Grow a spine. Stop being a rubber stamp for destruction, and DO YOUR JOB! Oh, and support the release of all materials related to Jeffrey Epstein. His victims deserve justice.
