An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Accountability Regarding Recent Health Policy and Child Protection Rhetoric

8 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

I am writing to you as a concerned constituent to address a deeply troubling disconnect between the administration’s public rhetoric and its policy actions regarding the safety and autonomy of teenage girls. Recently, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has made the sugar content of iced coffees a central "public safety" issue. While nutrition is important, I find it impossible to reconcile a crusade against Starbucks lollies with the administration’s concurrent push to: -- Restrict Reproductive Autonomy: Forcing teenage girls to carry pregnancies against their will, regardless of the medical or personal risks involved, while gutting evidence-based sex education programs. -- Shield Predatory Systems: While the administration claims to "protect children," the Treasury Department continues to fight the release of Jeffrey Epstein’s bank records—the very documents that would provide a roadmap to his enablers and co-conspirators. -- Undermine Public Health: Removing established, life-saving vaccines from the recommended childhood schedule based on political skepticism rather than new scientific data. It appears the administration is prioritizing "performative health" metrics like sugar intake while actively making the world less safe for girls by restricting their medical rights and shielding the financial records of a world-renowned predator. As my representative, I am asking you to choose facts over "vibes." Will you commit to demanding the full, unredacted release of the Epstein financial records? And will you stand with the American Medical Association in defending established reproductive healthcare and vaccine protocols? I look forward to hearing how you plan to address these documented contradictions.
