I am writing to urge you to follow through on the commitment to provide an emergency loan to prevent transit service cuts. The Bay Area needs transit for its economic recovery, and without this emergency loan, our region will suffer massive cuts to our ability to get around. Please follow through on the agreement to make a $750 million loan to provide Bay Area transit funding before money would start flowing form a 2026 regional transit funding measure.
