I am writing to express my support for everyone protesting the Republicans’, Trump’s, and Elon Musk’s indiscriminate, ignorant, and incredibly damaging attacks on science. Whether it’s the embarrassing and ridiculous confusion between transgenic and transgender mice, or the cuts to cancer research, this has got to stop. Once again you are harming your country, your people, and the health of literally everyone in the world by failing to stop DOGE from cutting science moneys that have already been appropriated. Your legacy will be the set back of knowledge and progress in the US and world for years to come.
