Hold strong & be vocal about the shutdown. Democrats for working-class citizens.

Explain to the American public that the majority of the Republican Party simply doesn't care about the working class and poor citizens. The Republican Party could end the shutdown tomorrow if it wanted to. They could find funds for SNAP just like they are funding funds to pay ICE. They could take the funds they are sending to Argentina to fund the ACA premium tax credits. They could end the shutdown tomorrow but their actions or lack thereof provide evidence that they simply don't care about working-class and poor Americans. The Democratic Party needs to spread the word and make it crystal clear that Democrats want to work to help their constituents. The Democratic Party wants the ACA subsidies restored. Democrats want an equitable budget bill and to get the government open and functioning efficiently. The Republican Party is repeatedly proving that they don't care about working-class and poor Americans. Hold strong and encourage your democracy loving colleagues to be very vocal about what is happening. In solidarity.
