Republican senators whose records were seized in the insurrection investigation now stand to get taxpayer‑funded “weaponization” payouts controlled by Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche—an off‑the‑books bribe for supporting his corrupt collusion with Donald Trump. Blanche’s nearly $1.8 billion “anti‑weaponization” fund lets Trump donors, January 6 defendants, and now apparently Trump‑aligned lawmakers apply for cash and official apologies. I am your constituent and I ask you support legislation or budget riders to freeze or gut this fund and explicitly ban any payments ever to anyone connected to efforts to overturn the 2020 election or attack the Capitol—whether sitting members of Congress, their staff, Trump donors, or January 6 defendants.
