It means we don't have all the facts yet. It means that the responsible adult thing to do is say "we don't have all the answers" and then maybe add a "but when we do we'll act accordingly". Going off half-cocked and pointing fingers at fully half of the country and claiming the assassin was a leftist when all evidence (of which, remember, there isn't much) points to him being a disaffected young right-winger is irresponsible and dangerous. It's neat how you and Donnie keep claiming that there's a radical left-wing conspiracy against you while conveniently leaving out that everyone who has enacted political violence in the last few years has targeted the left, the right, and the middle. Need I remind you the kid who pierced Donnie's ear also had Joe on his list? So here's the deal, JD. I know you're used to being a grifter and not a politician, but they're not so different. The trouble is, your words as VP have weight now. Making sweeping, unsubstantiated accusations against half the country will lead to more violence. You know this. I know this. Donnie knows this. Continue, and you're responsible for the next act of violence perpetuated against anyone on any political grounds. We do not need more violence, JD.
