First, I am distressed about the state of the economy and Trump’s stupid, destructive tariffs. I want the Senator to co-sponsor and actively work to pass S 1272, the Trade Review Act. This would take control of tariffs back from Trump and give it to Congress, which is where it belongs. We need to stop the global meltdown, and fast.
Americans are very clear that Republicans could end this today. If they don’t we will vote every one of them out next year.
Also, I am disgusted by the Budget Resolution the Senate passed on Friday. Republicans want to cut taxes for rich people, gut services for the rest of us, and then pretend they’re not blowing up the deficit when they are. How stupid do they think we are? If Republicans pass this bill we will vote every one of them out.
