Santos must be expelled

I am deeply concerned about the recent allegations regarding George Santos’s likely violations of campaign finance laws. Two legal watchdog organizations lodged complaints with the Federal Election Commission accusing Santos of misusing campaign funds, accepting contributions above the legal limits, and reporting suspicious expenses on his campaign filings. In addition to his shady and likely illegal campaign finance practices, George Santos lied about nearly every aspect of his life, deceiving voters about his residence, religion, resume, finances, and family history. The people of New York’s 3rd Congressional cannot trust their elected representative. Santos must be held accountable. That starts with the House Ethics Committee swiftly and thoroughly investigating his wrongdoing, and it ends with Santos being expelled from Congress.
