An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Why are Senators Silent?

8 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

I have written you over a thousand times, so I have no hope of my representative ever actually representing me, which would require reasons this and responding. But many of us care and have deep concerns that you should, both legally and ethically, be treating seriously and hearing and understanding and to which you respond. Your refusal to ever speak out against Donald Trump, a time that now includes the murder of US citizens by the government - murders that you are trying to spin as necessary to national security - will haunt you forever. In the depth of your soul, Senator, you have to know that your silence in the face of this man is a disgrace to your legacy. Many of us used to have respect for you as your own person. But now, there is no 'you' - there is only the man who appeased and supported Donald Trump no matter what he did. Trump's legacy is now permanently linked to your, because of your silence. This is an immoral, unethical, and disgraceful man - and solely because of your silence and utter inability to do what is right over what is political - now, so are you.
