Accepting lavish gifts from nations linked to terrorist groups undermines America's commitment to these core values. We must reject any transactions that could compromise our nation's integrity or embolden those who threaten peace and human rights. Appropriately addressing this matter upholds the Presidential oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. Maintaining strict ethical standards safeguards America's interests and global standing as a force for freedom and justice.
