An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Sanction Saudi Arabia for Khashoggi's Murder

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

Jamal Khashoggi's killing, ordered by the Mohammed bin Salman and covered up by the Saudi Arabian government, must be addressed with action. The murder itself was horrifying - he was tortured, murdered, and dismembered. It was also clearly intended to send a message to Saudis at in Saudi Arabia and internationally, and it's a violation of norms of state behavior. Trump would not act, and now Biden won't act, so Congress must act to protect the rights of the press and the rights of the persecuted to speak. We have to take action against the Saudi Arabian government. Please take action to make clear that this is unacceptable!
