I noticed in your recent e- letter that you mentioned a border crisis. "Last week, I voted for the Laken Riley Act, which holds President Biden accountable for his open border policies, requires detention of illegal immigrants who commit theft and mandates ICE to take them into custody, and allows a state to sue the federal government for not enforcing the law, particularly in the case of parole." Interesting. This bill is a waste of our tax paying dollars. You had an opportunity to vote on a bill to address the border situation. You and your party chose not to do so. You can not now claim the higher ground and act like this is a Biden Administration issue. You had a bill everyone was willing to sign. I call hypocracy, You supported Donald Trump's illegal and unconstitutional border policies when he was in office. The border has not been open in 100 years, not since 1924. Trump made immigrating to the US even harder during his term in office. You were okay with concentration camps in the US. You were okay with the sterilization of women who came across the border, asylum seekers migrants, and undocumented workers who were fleeing from the kind of stuff you did to them. You sanctioned the hunting down of people in our country, and you did not care if they were Americans. You were okay sending active duty and veteran's spouses out of the country, why would anyone want to serve when you kidnap and extradite their loved ones. You sanctioned ripping children from their parents. As a result of your complicity, women, kids, and men were sexually assaulted at the border. All these things are not currently happening at the border. I call that a win. We have more work to do. Many families were reunited under the Biden Administration.
