Demand Hegseth’s resignation from his cabinet position

The recent revelations that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared sensitive military information on an insecure messaging app in not one, but two separate group chats is deeply concerning and a clear dereliction of duty. Disclosing operational details like aircraft flight schedules for strikes against rebel forces in Yemen constitutes a serious breach of security protocols. Compounding the issue, Hegseth appears to have included individuals without proper clearance in these chats, such as his wife, brother, and personal lawyer. This reckless disregard for safeguarding classified information jeopardizes national security interests and endangers the lives of our troops. It is unacceptable for the Secretary of Defense to mishandle sensitive data in such a cavalier manner. Hegseth's actions demonstrate an inability to properly execute the responsibilities entrusted to him and a lack of judgment befitting his critical leadership role. In light of these repeated and egregious lapses, I strongly urge you on behalf of your constituents to set partisan politics aside and call for Hegseth's immediate resignation from his position. The American people must have full confidence that the individual overseeing our military forces can be trusted to protect classified information and make decisions prioritizing the safety of our service members above all else. We also demand our members of Congress take their oversight responsibilities seriously. The favor of a reply is requested.
