No compromise on human rights

I’m disappointed that you voted to pass the Defense bill. I realize the importance of strong defense, but this bill comes at the cost of the lives of transgender kids, and that’s just wrong. Compromise is the backbone of our government, but human rights are precious and should never be forsaken for political expediency. Please do better as the horrid Trump administration begins. Don’t capitulate on human rights.
