Want My Vote? Stop Arming Israel, Then We’ll Talk.

I am writing to demand that you cosponsor the HR 3565, Block the Bombs Act, or introduce companion legislation in the Senate. The United States must stop arming Israel as it continues to commit atrocities against the Palestinian people. Words of concern are meaningless without concrete action. Despite talk of a “ceasefire,” Israel has never stopped firing. Its military continues to bomb and kill Palestinians in Gaza daily, even as millions face famine and displacement. Settlers are mutilating and stealing Palestinian livestock, burning fields, and terrorizing families with impunity. The Israeli government is rapidly expanding illegal settlements across the West Bank, erasing entire communities and seizing more land by force. Meanwhile, aid remains deliberately obstructed—tents, excavation tools, and other essential supplies are still blocked from entering Gaza, leaving families exposed and desperate. If any member of Congress claims to support a “two-state solution,” they cannot in the same breath vote to arm a government that is actively destroying that very possibility. Israel’s actions make coexistence impossible and amount to a permanent campaign of occupation, apartheid, and genocide. Continuing to supply weapons under these conditions makes the United States complicit in these crimes. The midterm elections are quickly approaching, and I will not vote for anyone who continues to fund, justify, or enable this depraved violence—or for anyone who takes money from AIPAC or any other lobbying group that bankrolls genocide and silences accountability. The days of claiming moral leadership while fueling atrocity are over. Congress must act now to end U.S. complicity. The Block the Bombs Act is not radical—it is the bare minimum of moral responsibility. Stop funding weapons of mass destruction. Start defending human rights.
