Pulte must be removed from acting DNI post. DO YOUR JOB

Bill Pulte, whom Trump recently made acting Director of National Intelligence, is a disaster-- entirely unqualified with zero appropriate credentials and experience. In addition he is currently under investigation. Finally, he is a partisan extremist who will put loyalty to Trump before national security and the constitution. The senate can force him out. That is what I am asking you to do: You can refuse to confirm any additional nominees or vote on any legislation until Trump removes Pulte from his post as acting DNI. According to the DNI website, "The DNI is "the head of the U.S. Intelligence Community, overseeing and directing the implementation of the National Intelligence Program and acting as the principal advisor to the President, the National Security Council, and the Homeland Security Council for intelligence matters related to national security." The DNI post is a presidential appointment that requires senate confirmation. However, an acting DNI appointee can serve for 250 days without Senate confirmation. You have seen the corruption of the DOJ. Don't let the DNI appointee further wreck our institutions and national security. Pulte is entirely unfit for this post--read Robert Hubbell's summary: "Pulte will use the full force of the intelligence community to attack Trump's political enemies and support his delusional war of choice in Iran. Pulte will further undermine the credibility and professionalism of the intelligence community-vital to US national security. Worse, Pulte is currently under investigation by the GAO for possible unlawful or criminal conduct involving the misuse of confidential information collected by a federal agency that was then used to target Trump's political agencies. Having the nation's top intelligence officer under investigation for possible criminal conduct is ludicrous. There is no excuse for allowing this man to remain in his post. Please show your fidelity to the constitution and your respect for our national security. Please ensure that he will be removed.
