Jewish people are not all of one mind about the State of Israel. Many Jewish people are critical of the State of Israel. Equating the State of Israel with Judaism, by equating criticism of the State of Israel with antisemitism, is like equating Trump with Christianity and thereby taking any criticism of him as anti-Christian. Pro-Palestine protests are not the same thing as antisemitism, they are not calling for extermination of all Jews everywhere, they are calling for an end to slaughter and an end to the war machine being funded by our American tax dollars which are needed here for infrastructure, for saving the natural environment, for investing in education and Healthcare and renewable energy. Protest is part of our American DNA, and if this really was about antisemitism we would have had police crackdown on the tiki-torch guys in their polo shirts yelling actual antisemitic slurs in Charlottesville back in 2017. Can you not see the difference?
