Replace DEM Leadership

Good Morning, I am writing because I am deeply concerned about the Senate vote to end cloture and pass the CR. I appreciate your no vote against cloture. However, we now must demand a change in Democratic Party leadership. Schumer and Durbin must be removed from their leadership positions. The Democrats had been holding firm for continued ACA subsidies and the American people were supporting your actions. We had seven million people turn out during the shutdown for the No Kings rally. We had an overwhelming series of wins with record turnout in last week's election. We were seeing polls turning sharply against President Trump and the GOP position. But, yet, the Democrats capitulated. I thank you for your vote against ending cloture. I appreciate you standing firm. However, it is clear that the Democratic capitulation was orchestrated by the Senate Leadership. The 8 Senators that "broke rank" are all retiring or far from their election cycle. Some that had initially been reported to be part of the 8 Democratic votes (such as Peters and Offoss) voted no but were quickly replaced by others that were more willing to fall on this unnecessary sword. This shows the capitulation was planned and organized by leadership. If you truly support the ACA, SNAP, and federal workers, you will demand that this leadership step down. They clearly do not have the strength to stand up to the Trump Administration. They do not have the ability to rise to the moment that we are in. We must replace their leadership with people that are willing to stand up and fight. Perhaps Chris Murphy is a better leader for these times? Or I see your leadership being more resolute than Schumer and Durbin. One of you could be the Minority Leader and the other the Whip? All I know is that Schumer and Durbin aren't the right men for the job. Please call for their removal from leadership positions.
