An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Reject SAVE Act's Voter Suppression, Expand Voter Access

3 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The SAVE Act is a blatant attempt at voter suppression that would disenfranchise millions of eligible U.S. citizens, particularly transgender and gender non-conforming individuals as well as women who have changed their names due to marriage or divorce. This draconian legislation requires excessive documentary proof of identity that many Americans simply do not possess or have ready access to. It is a thinly veiled attack on the fundamental right to vote in direct contradiction of core democratic principles. I urge you to firmly reject this bill and instead work to expand voter access and protect the integrity of U.S. elections through policies grounded in evidence rather than discrimination. Upholding the right to vote for all eligible citizens should be a non-partisan priority.
