Stand Up for Panjshir

Hello, I’m a gravely concerned U.S. citizen reaching out because there is an active genocide happening in Panjshir, Afghanistan right now. Thousands of civilians are being killed. Journalists are being killed. The killing of a journalist is a war crime. There’s a media black out because the internet and electricity has been cut. Hundreds of thousands of Afghans from all ethnic and religious backgrounds fled to Panjshir to seek refuge, including ethnic and religious minorities and the democratically elected Vice President and other elected members. Taliban are committing genocide on the ground and an Air Force from above is bombing civilians. Reports confirm that the Air Force is not Taliban, they do not have the capability, it belongs to their guarantors and partners. More disturbingly, there are reports that foreign mercenaries are supporting the Taliban. This takeover will lead to Afghanistan’s political and economic isolation. We are calling on you to bring attention to this and provide humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan, especially in the Panjshir Valley where they are actively being targeted because of their stance in favor of democracy, liberty, and justice. We want you to call on our Commander-in-Chief to take all adequate measures as an ally to support the Panjshir-led efforts to protect innocent civilians as this massacre must not and cannot continue.
