Don’t sell public lands

I was dismayed to hear the news that 120 million acres of public lands are being put up for sale in the SENR budget reconciliation package. Once sold and developed, that land will never again be available for public use and will never again serve as wildlife or native plant habitat. These are resources that we will never get back. With the threat of climate change against all of us, human and nonhuman alike, we need to hold on to our wild spaces while we can. I urge you to fight against this provision in the bill and work to protect our shared lands.
