Demand Immediate U.S. Action to Counter Russian Aggression in Europe

The recent escalation of Russian aggression against NATO allies and Ukraine demands immediate and decisive action from the United States. As your constituent, I am deeply concerned about the alarming developments that threaten European security and, by extension, our own national interests.
Russia's provocations have reached an unprecedented level. Polish airspace has been violated 19 times by Russian drones, forcing Poland to invoke NATO's Article 4. This is not an isolated incident. The EU Commission President's plane was subjected to GPS jamming, and Russian forces have bombed EU and British offices in Ukraine. These actions, coupled with the upcoming Zapad 2025 military exercises in Belarus, paint a clear picture of Russia's intent to destabilize Europe and fracture the transatlantic alliance.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk's warning that the prospect of military conflict in Europe is closer than at any time since World War II cannot be ignored. The recent arson attack on electricity pylons in Berlin, leaving thousands without power, further highlights the vulnerabilities we face. These events underscore the urgent need for a united and robust response from NATO, led by unwavering U.S. commitment.
I am particularly troubled by reports suggesting that the current administration may be considering pulling back core security guarantees to our NATO allies. This perceived wavering in our commitment only emboldens Russia's aggressive behavior. We must reaffirm our dedication to NATO's collective defense and make it clear to Putin that any further aggression will be met with severe consequences.
The time for action is now. I urge you to push for an immediate strengthening of our support for NATO allies, particularly those on the eastern flank. This should include increased military presence, enhanced cyber defense capabilities, and a clear message that the U.S. stands ready to defend every inch of NATO territory. Additionally, we must bolster our support for Ukraine, providing them with the means to defend their sovereignty against Russian aggression.
Delay will only invite further Russian provocations. By taking a firm stance now, we can prevent the escalation of tensions into a broader conflict. The security of Europe and the credibility of the United States as a global leader are at stake. I implore you to act swiftly and decisively to counter Russian aggression and reaffirm our commitment to our European allies and partners.
