Protect Title IX from The Heritage Foundation

The Heritage Foundation just published a report calling for the dismantling of Title IX's proportionality requirements — the core protections that guarantee women equal athletic opportunities in federally funded schools. The report, authored by Boise State professor Scott Yenor, proposes replacing competitive women's sports with yoga and hiking clubs — activities that carry no scholarships and no prestige. Yenor frames competitive athletics as a threat to women's "fertility" and calls Title IX "a powerful engine of feminist social engineering."
