An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Oppose Reckless Medicaid Cuts – Lives Are on the Line

2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

I’m writing to demand that you oppose the proposed Medicaid cuts in the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.” You know Medicaid matters. You know what these cuts will really cost the American people—not just in dollars, but in lives. Independent analysis shows that nearly 50,000 Americans could die every year if these cuts go through. These are preventable deaths—families who will lose cancer treatment, disabled people who will lose vital care, and seniors who will be forced to go without the support they need to survive. At the same time, this bill hands out $1.8 million in tax breaks per death to the wealthiest households. That is not fiscal responsibility—that is cruelty. You were not elected to trade lives for luxury. Stand up for the people who rely on Medicaid. Oppose these reckless cuts. Defend life, not loopholes. We are watching. And we will remember. I need you to respond and answer yes or no will you take action to stop these preventable deaths or not.
