Condemn the White House's bullying of Zelenskyy and declare support for Ukraine

I am writing to express my deep disgust and disappointment with the shameful behavior of President Trump and Vice President Vance in their recent treatment of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Their conduct was nothing short of bullying--disrespectful, undignified, and utterly un-American. At a time when Ukraine is fighting for its very survival against Russia, an adversary of the United States and the free world, the White House's hostility toward a key ally is both strategically reckless and morally indefensible. As my representative, I expect you to formally condemn this disgraceful behavior and reaffirm our state's unwavering support for Ukraine. The people of Ukraine have shown extraordinary courage in resisting Russia's brutal invasion, and it is our duty as Americans to stand firmly with them. Anything less emboldens Vladimir Putin and weakens the global fight for democracy and human rights. America has always been a beacon of freedom and a defender of those who fight against tyranny. The actions of the President and Vice President in undermining Ukraine's leadership and cause are a betrayal of that legacy. I urge you to publicly and forcefully denounce their behavior and take meaningful action to ensure that the United States remains steadfast in its commitment to Ukraine. Our state must make it clear: we stand with Ukraine, and we will not tolerate weak or dishonorable leadership that sides with our enemies, even indirectly. I look forward to seeing you take a stand on this critical issue.
