Vote NO on the CR

I’m writing to voice my opposition to the CR currently under consideration in the House. You should not consider any spending bill that does not even attempt to rein in Elon Musk and DOGE. And you certainly should not consider any CR in which Congress VOLUNTARILY surrenders its authority to block Trump’s tariffs. I do not understand how you can remain so supine in the face of Musk’s attacks on our government and Trump’s malicious stupidity regarding tariffs. Both will wreck our economy, throw God knows how many people out of work, and condemn our elderly, sick and vulnerable to  poverty and worse. And Trump’s tariffs will also destroy our relations with other countries, just as they already have with Canada, once one of our closest allies. Stop this lunacy. Vote NO on the CR. Stand up for this nation and your own dignity as a member of Congress. Do your damn job.
