An open letter to the U.S. Supreme Court

No Kings in America!

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

How exactly are your recent decisions “following the Constitution” and how are these decisions in accord with the original intent? It is certainly true that the central idea of the Constitution was not to set up a monarchy. Your actions have put more and more power in the hands of the president, the unitary executive (aka king, monarch, dictator.) This is far off from the original intent of the founders. Grow a spine and defend the Constitution as your job and your oath to the American Constitution requires. George Washington resigned after two terms. The founders put their lives on the line fighting against King George and set up a Constitution to specifically guard against the institution of a monarchy.
