Fight Trump’s Attacks on Trans People

We must speak out against President Trump's alarming executive orders targeting transgender Americans. These orders strip away fundamental rights and protections from a vulnerable minority group that already faces widespread discrimination and violence. Denying trans service members the ability to serve, restricting access to gender-affirming healthcare for trans youth, and refusing to recognize trans individuals' authentic gender identities on federal documents are cruel attacks on human dignity. These orders betray our nation's values of equality and undermine the civil liberties enshrined in our Constitution. History will not look kindly upon leaders who scapegoat and marginalize minorities to appease an extreme base. We call on all fair-minded citizens to denounce these bigoted policies and demand the President reverse course immediately. Our society must stand firmly against injustice and uphold the rights of every American, regardless of gender identity or expression. Discrimination has no place in a nation built on principles of freedom and justice for all.
