Save the McNair Programs

I am reaching out to you as my representative and also asking that you contact the Secretary of Education and ensure that the McNair programs are not cancelled and that all McNair grant award notifications for 2025-2026 are released before September 30!" (every federal dollar spent on the McNair program results in $13 being returned to the economy). I’m deeply concerned at the idea of passionate young people who believe in a better world losing the funding they need to make the world better. We need to protect the most vulnerable in our community and help them succeed! Protecting this funding is an investment in the future of our country. These students will be lawyers, teachers, doctors and nurses, and any number of other jobs that make our country great. Please reach out to the secretary of education to help secure this funding.
