YES on SB 1105

As a deeply concerned and actively engaged constituent, and as a longtime member of the ACLU, I join them and numerous other progressive organizations in urging you to vote YES on SB 1105 to Protect California Rights. I am seriously worried about my local police being used to deprive Californians of their right to be free from racial profiling and ideological retaliation. It is time to close the door on the Trump administration using local law enforcement to profile community members exercising their right to hold the government accountable. Californians deserve to know their state and local officials have their backs and won’t bend the knee to the Trump administration and its authoritarian attacks on our communities. I strongly urge you to protect our community and vote YES on the Protect California Rights Act.
