I am appalled at the FHP and DOT wasting resources on the most peevish, idiotic, mean spirited nonsense of not only painting over lovely rainbow crosswalks that are happy and heartening, BUT THEN stationing FHP to stop any form of chalk or other protest! WHAT A STUPID WASTE OF MY TAX DOLLARS!!!! Of all the problems facing Floridians - homeowners insurance through the roof, completely insane overdevement without any planning or infrastructure in place, stress and pollution on the aquifer, and heck rising grocery prices = you have options to help, problems to really work on. And yet you choose RAINBOWS to PAINT BLACK?!?!! What is wrong with you?!? Stop this wasteful stunt crap right now, leave the rainbows and work on the real problems that are affecting your constituents.
