An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Condemn Trump's Attempted Control of National Museums.

3 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

Where is your strong public condemnation of President Trump's attempt to tell a distinguished institution like the Smithsonian how to present American History? Donald Trump is not a historian, not an expert in any historical field, nor should he be deciding that there was somehow a 'good' part to our country's legacy of slavery. Third world countries try to control their museums and water down their history - I thought you were all about 'transparency' - where is that conviction now? When are you going to loudly condemn his actions on this? Senator? Are you against the teaching of American History?
