Call a bribe a bribe! No money for votes

Trump statement that he would pay each citizen $5000 if the Republicans maintain Congress is an outright bribe and needs to be called out clearly as such! I am disgusted by Senator Collins couched response saying it is extraordinarily expensive, but not saying it is undemocratic to offer money for votes. I hope other members of Congress will have more of a spine standing up to our current bully and chief. I thought Susan was smarter and had more scruples than this.
