Please support a ban on congressional stock trading

I’m writing to urge you to support legislation banning individual stock trading for members of Congress, their spouses, and dependents. This is not a partisan issue—it’s about trust. Lawmakers have access to information that creates unavoidable conflicts of interest when they trade stocks. As a constituent, I want to know that decisions in Washington are being made for the public good, not personal profit. I appreciate the hard work you do on behalf of Washington state, and I encourage you to help build momentum for this reform in the Senate. I also urge you to extend this effort across all branches of government, including the White House. No elected official should be in a position to profit from insider knowledge.
