Reject Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s unfit HHS nomination

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s nomination for Secretary of Health and Human Services should be rejected. He lacks relevant experience and holds dangerously misinformed views that could jeopardize public health. As the founder of an anti-vaccine group, he has repeatedly questioned the safety and effectiveness of routine vaccinations, contributing to outbreaks like the 2019 measles crisis in Samoa. He also intends to profit from lawsuits against vaccine makers, despite overwhelming evidence of vaccine safety. Furthermore, he has exploited family tragedies for personal gain and publicity. Kennedy is unfit to lead agencies responsible for safeguarding the nation's health and wellbeing. His confirmation would undermine faith in public health institutions and put lives at risk. The Senate must uphold its duty to the American people by rejecting this unqualified and unethical nominee.
