Vaccines for California

Thank you for all you are doing in this terrible time. There are so many current outrages, but today I'm writing to you about vaccines and California's role in them. As you know, RFK recently fired ACIP members and plans to replace them with those with an antivax agenda. This will harm millions of kids while impacting seasonal covid/flu/RSV boosters for adults. CA is a leader in progressive health policy and needs to protect its residents. As my elected representatives, I urge you to push CA HHS Secretary Kim Johnson to maintain the current childhood vaccine/respiratory booster schedule and proactively stock inventory for both. I am high risk for Covid and flu because of a breathing condition and really need protection from these diseases. Again I thank you for everything you do and for your attention to this crucial matter.
