WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

A Golden Age of incompetence. That and the golden accents emblazoned all over the Oval Office is all the gold we’re likely to see from the Trump administration. But all we hear is what a great job they’re doing. I guess we need our collective eyesight checked. The Sec. of Defense is having war chats with his family over a messaging app. I guess including a reporter in one was just not enough. DOGE is infilitrating, meddling, compiling, massaging, and doing god only knows what with American citizens’ most intimate, and until now closely guarded, personal information. And now accessing IRS information on immigrants who pay into our financial systems. The IMF today slashed its forecasts for growth in the United States, China and most countries, citing the impact of U.S. tariffs now at 100-year highs, and warning that further trade tensions would slow growth further. We have a president accustomed in his private business dealings to using whatever methods he can to achieve his goals, which doesn’t include much fealty to the rule of law. He is now abusing the same systems he has always used to manipulate, obfuscate, delay, defraud, bully, and terrorize. But now he’s president. And every method he now says is for the good of the country has to be treated as valid and part of some master plan. He is vocally, attacking the judicial branch. Including SCOTUS. Putting himself as judge, jury, and executioner, saying our system is unworkable, would take too much time, is too slow, to allow individual due process. He is the sole person to determine who needs locking up, who needs deporting, and he is sure to make a great deal on prisons in other countries that are eager to curry favor with a US president. He is not negotiating in good faith to end the wars in Ukraine and Gaza. He has neither the temperament or the skills to do so. His negotiators are out of their depth. He is attacking every cultural institution, institute of higher learning, and anything and everything that in some way has displeased him. He has installed, with your help, the most incompetent array of cabinet members in our history. What the jobs require, we now have the opposite. As has been noted, and confirmed by history, we are now only waiting for the cataclysmic event that will force the Republican Congress to step up and stand up, and do something to stop this madness you have wrought on the country. Rest assured, it will happen. And it will happen on your watch.
