Denounce neo-Nazi group "The Base", counter domestic terrorism

The alarming resurgence of the neo-Nazi group "The Base" presents an urgent threat to national security and our democratic values. Their blatant efforts to grow their ranks and conduct paramilitary training on American soil, emboldened by the current regime's blind eye, are unacceptable. We cannot stand idly by as this vile organization actively seeks to expand its hateful ideology and terroristic activities within our borders.   The facts speak for themselves: The Base has already been implicated in assassination plots, mass shooting plans, and sabotage operations in Ukraine with the goal of establishing a white ethnostate. Their founder, a suspected Russian asset, is openly calling for the murder of government officials from a safe haven in St. Petersburg. Meanwhile, the group shamelessly advertises an upcoming national training event in the US, a clear escalation from their previous clandestine operations. Inaction is complicity.   The Trump administration and FBI Director Kash Patel have abdicated their responsibility to protect Americans from this grave domestic terrorism threat by deprioritizing investigations into far-right extremism. Their dereliction of duty has created an environment where hate groups like The Base feel empowered to operate with impunity.   Congress must step up and take immediate, decisive action to prevent the spread of this neo-Nazi cancer within our nation. Enact legislation to classify The Base as a domestic terrorist organization and allocate resources to dismantle their network before they can carry out their abhorrent agenda. Strengthen laws to combat hate crimes and extremist activities. Conduct rigorous oversight to ensure law enforcement agencies are appropriately prioritizing the dangers posed by white supremacist groups.   Hate has no place in our society. The Base's vile ideology and violent ambitions are antithetical to the values upon which our nation was built. We cannot allow this scourge to metastasize unchecked. Congress must act swiftly and forcefully to excise this malignant threat before it's too late.
