Stop Enabling Trump's Dishonesty on Iran Negotiations

I need you to publicly challenge President Trump's contradictory statements about Iran negotiations. He claimed Iran gave us an "oil and gas related" gift worth a tremendous amount of money while his own Press Secretary denies ceasefire talks are stalled and threatens to "unleash hell." Meanwhile, Iranian military officials say Americans are negotiating with themselves. These aren't minor inconsistencies. Trump is either lying about receiving something of value from Iran, or his administration is lying about the status of negotiations, or both. The American people deserve to know what's actually happening before we stumble into another Middle East conflict. You have oversight authority. Use it. Demand the administration provide evidence of this supposed Iranian gift and clarify whether negotiations are happening or not. If Trump is fabricating diplomatic progress to look strong while simultaneously threatening war, that's dangerous and reckless. Congress needs to establish the facts before this situation escalates further.
