I refuse to vote for anyone who elects a fascist Speaker of the House

I am writing to you to express my concerns about a recent meeting that minority leader Hakeem Jeffries took with fascist Jared Kushner. According to five people aware of the meeting, Rep. Jeffries and the fascist Jared Kushner met to discuss “areas of common ground.” I must remind you (and your STAFFERS) that it isn’t possible for elected officials to find “common ground” with fascists. The only people who seek “common ground” with fascists are other fascists. By meeting with Kushner, Jeffries has demonstrated his willingness to compromise our institutions and our traditions of working democratically to advance the national agenda — all in order to advance his own agenda. That is not representing his constituents. That is not carrying out the will of The People. That is ONE PERSON deciding what is best for the himself. It is crucial that Jeffries, who is now compromised, NOT be elected to lead Congressional Democrats as Speaker of the House. To that end, this letter serves to put you on notice: I REFUSE to vote for ANYONE that elects a FASCIST Speaker of the House. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries has bent the knee to the Trump dynasty — and has thus made himself ineligible for the Speaker of the House position. If you intend to support Jeffries to lead Congress — please know that you will not receive my vote when you are up for re-election. Please consider carefully what is more important to you: your continued political career, or elevating a fascist to the Speaker of the House.
