Racism. Lawlessness. Corruption. The Trump vision for America becomes clearer every day. People of color being rounded up and shipped off without benefit of due process entitled to them under our justice system. But instead of rounding up and deporting the worst of the worst as promised, we now learn that people abiding by our laws, following the processes we set to enable them to stay in the country, are being used as entrapment to locate, detain, and deport them. Any pretext or pretense is being used to increase deportation numbers, regardless of whether it’s right, appropriate, or even legal. This week the Oval Office was used as a setting to exhibit classic racist propaganda. Trump attacked the black president of South Africa with false information and the conspiracy theory of white genocide. With Musk watching, Trump showed to the cameras and the world a picture of people moving body bags, and said “[t]hese are all white farmers that are being buried.” In fact, it was from Goma in the DR of Congo, showing humanitarian workers burying bodies in a war zone. Racism. A federal judge ruled that the administration “unquestionably” violated a court order when it rendered eight men convicted of violent crimes to South Sudan. The court had ordered the administration to give the men due process before taking them to a country other than their own. Racism and lawlessness. The Trump administration officially accepted a 747 as a gift Qatar, despite the constitutional prohibition of taking foreign gifts. We are told he will not use it after he leaves office. But Air Force officials say it will take years and up to a BILLION in taxpayer money to secure it for use by a president. Since it may not even be useable by the time he leaves office, does anyone doubt he’ll just take it with him? The NYT reported that a struggling technology company with ties to China had secured funding to buy $300M of Trump’s cryptocurrency $TRUMP. Buying access. The top 220 holders of the $TRUMP coin joined Trump at a private dinner last night. Analysis of the top 25 wallets shows that 19 are owned by individuals from outside the US. Many of them dumped their $TRUMP coins as soon as they made the cut for the dinner. Pay to play. CREW reported that 50 of the people attending Trump's dinner hold crypto assets with names from the alt-right, including Pepe the Frog and swastikas, or that have names that are racist or antisemitic, including the n-word and “F*CK THE JEWS.” Racism meets corruption. SCOTUS just gave Trump and future presidents control over the independent agencies that currently run much of the government. He wants to control universities, law firms and the law itself, broadcasting, movies, rock stars, political ‘enemies’, the courts, other countries, the world economy, and space. History is going to marvel about a political party that enabled its own destruction and that of democracy to give all the power to Donald Trump.
