Urge Congress to pass the Families First Coronavirus Response Act

As the United States faces a public health emergency from COVID-19 that threatens millions of Americans, governors are on the front lines of ensuring public safety. As Chief Executive Officers responsible for, and accountable to, voters, governors understand that Congress must provide the tools and resources necessary to protect the American people. President Trump's administration has negotiated a legislative package with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to do just that. I urge the governor to publicly call for Congress – both the House and Senate – to swiftly act in a bipartisan manner to get this much needed relief to the American people.
