Justice for George Floyd: Black Lives Matter

The death of George Floyd makes it clear that action is needed and police action needs to be reformed. Too many black men are dying at the hands of police. We need to hold police accountable for their actions, for murdering innocent civilians. Now is the time to enact legislation that will work to fix the problem of police brutality in our cities and mass incarceration of black men and women. I am writing to you to make my stance clear and to stand with recent activist movements calling for something to be done about police brutality.
