Republicans have inserted a clause into the defense authorization bill that allows all politicians to take foreign money without reporting it. I expect you to do something about that.
I understand that Trump has created enough smoke and mirrors around the bill to make people clamor to pass it. But I hope you are smarter then Trump. I hope that you can defeat an amendment that allows him to take foreign money without reporting it.
The other stuff can be handled later. We've got time to rename bases. We've got time to give the military raises.
But we can't live in a country where some or all the politicians are owned by foreign countries, operating in the best interest of somebody else besides American citizens.
Please do something about this poison pill.
