An open letter to State Governors & Legislatures (Mo. only)
Covid-19

You are responsible for setting laws to protect the citizens of Missouri. You don’t expect people to drive responsibly on our roads without laws to guide them. You don’t expect businesses to protect their employees without laws to guide them. So why would you expect people and businesses to take “personal responsibility” during a pandemic. The state of Oregon has almost half as many cases of Covid-19 per 100,000 people as we do, yet their governor has ordered all people to wear masks in public buildings. She has done this to avoid a continued increase in cases AND to keep from having to close businesses. Without masks, Covid will continue to spread. Without 95% of the US citizens wearing masks, it is expected that the US will reach 180,000 deaths by Oct. 1. With masks, we can reduce the death toll by 33,000, and reduce Covid-19 from spreading further. Take responsibility for protecting your constituents. Do the right thing NOW!
