No payroll tax cut

Please stay vigilant to ensure that any bailout package for dealing with coronavirus impact does NOT include the so-called “payroll tax cut” being pushed from the White House. That proposal - is of no help to people whose income doesn’t come from a payroll - would add just a tiny amount to a person’s take-home pay - affects only the taxes used to fund Social Security and Medicare, not income taxes! - even includes waiving the employer contribution to those funds, which would benefit nobody at all. Now is NOT the time to jeopardize retirement funding. Please hold the line on this!
